Of course - we specialise in creating a tailor made performance or package to suit the ambience and feel of your event. We can help you to work out what kind of a vibe would suit your event and translate that into 'musician speak'. Our expertise lies within matching music to mood - something we've been doing for a number of years now.

 

How much?

An important question. How much is affected by a few factors:
a) the act
b) the location
c) the timings
d) the size of the event

Our list prices are guides for standard set times for events under 200 people in the north west. Our prices vary for performances outside these usual realms. Contact us for an accurate quote.

 

How do I make a booking?

 

You can give us a call on 07580 671310 or send an email to info@actualmusic.co.uk to make your enquiry or just to have an informal chat. Once we've confirmed the details of your event, we'll take down some more details and we'll send you a form to sign and you send that back to us along with the deposit.

This form links you to the act in a formal agreement. The act also fill out a form in accordance with their agency agreement with us. Then its all rubber stamped and proper.



Are you an agency?

We're more than an agency. We're not fans of the 'glorified directories' that you often see today - agencies which list any act on their site without knowing who they are and if they're good. We've hand-picked the best acts from our networks within the leading music performance degrees in the region, such as Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts and the Royal Northern College of Music. We know all our acts well and trust them.

We hope you will find our knowledge of live entertainment to be a great resource too. Our service goes beyond linking act and client - we can guide you through each step and help create a musical theme and coherence throughout your event with a tailor made package.

 

What are your business hours?

9am - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. We're also contactable out of hours to sort out any hectic last-minute changes and issues.

 

What if I/the act need to cancel?

 

Cancellation the part of the client incurs charges outlined in our full terms & conditions. Once you have booked them, the act has a contractual obligation to perform at your event, and withdrawal is only acceptable where they are unable to perform.

If the act cancels, it is important to remember Actual Music acts as negotiator only and is not a party to the resulting contract. For this reason Actual Music cannot accept responsibility for non-fulfilment or breach of any such contract.

Having said that, we will always do our best to mitigate unforeseen circumstances - with your permission we would do everything in our power to quickly and efficiently find a replacement act.
