His background lies in musical theatre, in which he has been immersed all his life. A leading role in the BTMC's production of 'Anything Goes' in 2010 led him to be nominated for 'Best Leading Male' for the National Operatic and Dramatic Association awards. He continued in a starring role in 'Guys and Dolls' to critical acclaim - Lancashire Telegraph called him 'a revelation' and 'the real star of the show'. while NODA 'adored his singing voice'.
